Life is like a camera focus on what important shirt can send a message and then use the same device just like a telephone. It’s crazy but it really works. I don’t work in hospitals, but do work in labs, I imagine it is much quicker to glance at a pager on your belt for a code/message than take gloves off, put hand in pocket, and a unlock phone. There’s also a signal issue in most hospitals. Modern technology doesn’t necessarily mean things work better. It’s not even that expensive. 6.6 million divided by 130,000 pagers is about 50 quid a year per pager.

Best Life is like a camera focus on what important shirt
Life is like a camera focus on what important shirt for a system that works. Allocating a pager is a lot cheaper than allocating a mobile phone. Ever worked in a hospital? There are cheap as chips wired phones everywhere. In the time it would take someone to write and send a text message I would already be talking to the ward that paged me. And if someone was going to phone they would be effectively immobile until I answered the phone.
Instead of just hitting a button to page me so they can get on with what they’re doing until I call. Why replace a cheap to run reliable system just because someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking thinks it’s old fashioned?
